Dwayne Gunter

Chief Growth Officer

Dwayne Gunter is Chief Growth Officer at The HCI Group. His experience includes over 27 years of solid business leadership experience and a diverse background across a number of industries which provides innovation and new perspectives to the healthcare market. Most recently Dwayne spent seven years with Hospital Corporation of America in various leadership roles where he gained healthcare operations perspectives around healthcare innovation and insights on technology cost management. In his role with HCI, Dwayne is focused on driving best practices and solutions to our clients to help them exceed their technology strategic initiatives while improving their financial health. He is an advisor to a number of startup healthcare organizations focused on value based care model solutions, population health and consumer engagement solutions. Dwayne serves in a number of charity organizations throughout Middle Tennessee along with serving in advisory role to local universities. Dwayne has a business degree from Trevecca Nazarene University and an MBA in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University. In 1997, he earned his doctorate in Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
